Camp Jim Murray

Get ready for an unforgettable Scouting experience at the Camp Jim Murray Training Center in Hobbs, New Mexico!

 

This amazing center has everything you need for a successful adventure, including its own water well, a community building, pavilion, storage buildings, and a 10-acre activity/parade ground area. You'll have a blast with the Archery, BB-Gun, and Shotgun Ranges, Adult and Unit training materials, and a 20-acre primitive area.

 

Plus, there's a NEW outdoor pavilion and a 24X60 modular building that can serve as additional meeting, training, and classroom space. The center hosts a variety of exciting programs such as Wood Badge Training, Adult and Youth Leadership programs, Cub Day Camps, District and Council Scout Camporees, Jamboree-on-the-Air, District Meetings, Round-tables, and more. It's also perfect for individual unit camping, out-of-council Units traveling through, Day Camps, and Community organizations and programs from around the area.
