Scouting America Awards & Recognition

Scouting America recognizes the achievements, service, leadership, and dedication of Scouts and adult volunteers through a wide variety of awards and recognitions.

For youth, these recognitions celebrate advancement, leadership, service, outdoor skills, and personal growth. The Eagle Scout rank represents the highest achievement in Scouts BSA and reflects years of dedication, leadership, and service.

Adult volunteers may also be recognized for exceptional service to Scouting and their communities. Honors such as the District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver Award, Silver Antelope Award, and Silver Buffalo Award recognize individuals whose commitment has made a lasting impact on young people and the Scouting movement.
