The 26th World Scout Jamboree
will be held from 30 July to 8 August 2027
The World Scout Jamboree is one of the most significant events in the global Scouting movement, bringing together thousands of young people from around the world to celebrate unity, adventure, and cultural exchange. Held approximately every four years, the Jamboree is a gathering unlike any other, offering Scouts the opportunity to experience a world of diversity while participating in activities that foster personal growth, leadership, and global citizenship.
The 26th World Scout Jamboree is scheduled to take place from 30 July to 8 August 2027, bringing together Scouts from all over the globe for a unique celebration of unity, adventure, and shared learning. This event is one of the most anticipated gatherings in the global Scouting calendar, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience for all involved.
To participate as a Youth Participant, individuals must be between 14 and 17 years old at the time of the event. This means they should have been born between 30 July 2009 and 30 July 2013. Those who are older, specifically born on or before 30 July 2009, have the opportunity to join as International Service Team (IST) volunteers. These volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the Jamboree, taking on a variety of support roles throughout the event.
Adult volunteers, including those on the Contingent Management Team (CMT), must also be 18 years or older, adhering to the same age requirement as IST volunteers.
The schedule for the Jamboree is planned to ensure a well-organised event. IST members will begin arriving on 27 July 2027, with further arrivals on 28 July 2027. Contingents are expected to arrive by 29 July 2027. The official start of the Jamboree will be marked by the Opening Game and Opening Ceremony on 30 July 2027.
A special highlight of the event will be on 1 August 2027, which will celebrate 120 years of Scouting, marking a significant milestone in the history of the movement.
The Jamboree will conclude with a Closing Ceremony on 8 August 2027, after which Youth Participants will depart on 9 August 2027. IST members will have their departures scheduled for 10 August 2027.
As the date approaches, more detailed information about the program and specific activities will be provided to ensure that everyone is ready for this global Scouting experience.

The Poland organizing committee has given us until the end of August to add more participants and International Service Team (IST) members. Interested Scouts and adults should register on the waitlist first, and as approvals come in, participants will be moved to active registration. The goal is to have everyone moved forward or know where they stand on the waitlist by mid-September.
And there’s even more reason to be excited—Katie Espinosa-Newton from our council has been approved to serve as an adult leader with the contingent! 🎉
A World Scout Jamboree is more than a trip. It’s an opportunity to meet Scouts from around the world, experience new cultures, build lifelong friendships, and be part of the global Scouting movement.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of history!
