The Conquistador Council’s 100th Anniversary Gala on November 8, 2025, was an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie, reflection, and pride in a century of Scouting. Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor the legacy that began in 1925 and continues to shape the lives of young people across our region today.
We extend our deepest appreciation to Alison Schuler, National Executive Board Member, for delivering a powerful and inspiring keynote address. Her message reminded us of the lasting impact that dedicated volunteers, leaders, and supporters have on the Scouting movement.
Council President Chris Lauderman, Council Alumni Chair Jeremy Kern, Scout Executive Karl Shelton, and Wehinahpay Mountain Camp Ranger Brian Chambers also took the stage to share a recap of the council’s storied history—highlighting its triumphs, traditions, and trailblazing leaders—while offering an exciting look at what lies ahead for Scouting in the next century.
A special thank you goes out to our Gala Table Sponsors, whose generosity made the evening possible:
The Arnett Family | Senator Larry R. Scott
As you browse through the photos from this remarkable night, we hope you feel the same sense of pride and excitement we do. Here’s to the next 100 years of adventure, leadership, and service in the Conquistador Council!
