Adult Volunteer and Leadership Training

 

Youth Protection Training

The Scouting America Youth Protection Training program on My.Scouting.org is a comprehensive course designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all youth involved in the Scouting program. The training focuses on educating volunteer adults about the principles, policies, and procedures essential to preventing, recognizing, and responding to various forms of abuse.

 

BALOO Training

All Cub Scout Leaders with a desire to plan & carry out an entry level outdoor experience for the pack.  This is the first step in the BSA outdoor training program & does not replace any existing training.  Each Cub Scout Pack-coordinated overnight event must be under the direction of a BALOO-trained leader.

Position-specific training for adult volunteers in the Scouting America program is crucial for delivering a high-quality scouting experience and preparing Scouts for life. This specialized training equips volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively fulfill their roles, ensuring that scouts benefit from a well-organized, educational, and enjoyable program.
