There’s no better way to close out the year than at Texas Southwest Council's Winter Camp at Camp Sol Mayer!

Nestled in the Texas Southwest Council, Camp Sol Mayer is a hidden gem of Scouting—and its annual Winter Camp is the highlight of the calendar. Scouts from across the region will gather for four days of adventure, learning, and fellowship at one of the best Winter Camp programs in Texas.

A Full Program of Merit Badges and Adventure

Scouts will have the opportunity to earn a variety of merit badges during the weekend, with engaging classes taught by skilled volunteers who are passionate about Scouting. From outdoor skills to STEM, the Course Catalog offers something for every Scout. The finalized catalog is now available on the registration page.

Welcoming Maverick Campers

Don’t have a full troop attending? No problem. Maverick Campers are welcome! The camp team will connect individual Scouts and Scouters within two weeks of camp to help coordinate and ensure every Scout has a great Winter Camp experience.

Resources for Leaders

A Camp Leader’s Guide and additional resources are available to help units prepare. All adults attending must complete the Adult In-Camp Compliance Form before the close of registration.
