Memorial Day Preparations: Scouts Providing Community Service

Hobbs Scout Troop partners with local service organization for Memorial Day events.

scouts and volunteers preparing flags for memorial day

Scout in Troop 3274 in Hobbs successfully completed their initial service project and VFW Day of Service by assisting the Hobbs VFW Post 3274 Auxiliary in preparing 700 flags for placement over Memorial Day weekend. Several flags were ready for retirement and were gathered and prepared for our upcoming flag retirement project. If anyone has flags that need to be retired, please bring them to the VFW Hall at 609 W. Alto Dr. Hobbs, NM. Excellent work by everyone involved.
