4 Scout-Approved Facilities: Discover New Adventures In Your Neighborhood

Host Cub Scout Recruitment Events

The Conquistador Council is thrilled to announce five recreational facilities in our service area approved for hosting Cub Scout overnight campouts! These locations have been carefully screened and selected to offer a mix of fun, learning, and the great outdoors, providing perfect opportunities for your Pack to explore, bond, and recruit new members.


As BSA-approved sites, these parks offer the following at minimum:

  • A clean and safe environment.

  • Available for tent camping.

  • Proper sanitation, drinking water, shelter.


Optionally, some sites provide additional amenities such as:

  • Swimming.

  • Fishing.

  • Bouldering and rock climbing.

  • RV sites.

  • Showers.

  • Cooking areas.

  • Trails.

  • Playgrounds.


Why Plan an Event at These Properties?

Hosting events at these properties is not only a great way to bring your Cub Scouts together but also an excellent opportunity to showcase the excitement of Scouting to potential members and their families. Whether it’s a day of games and crafts, a pinewood derby, hosting a day camp, or sharing outdoor skills adventure, these parks will make your Cub Scout event memorable.
