Cub Scout Adventure Day: Oil Patch

Cub Scout Adventure Day at Camp Jim Murray in Oil Patch brought Cub Scouts from across Southeast New Mexico together for a day filled with excitement and learning.


Cubs had the chance to try their hand at archery, sling shots, and arts & crafts, giving them just a taste of the fun and adventure that Cub Scouts offers. Throughout the day, Scouts connected with one another, made new friends, and worked as a team to overcome challenges while developing valuable new skills. The event provided a unique opportunity for young Scouts to explore their interests and embrace the spirit of adventure.



The day's hands-on experiences not only introduced them to new hobbies but also helped build confidence and foster a love for the outdoors. Parents and volunteers from the community were on hand to guide the Cub Scouts and cheer them on, ensuring the event was not only educational but full of lasting memories.
