This past weekend, about 30 Cub Scouts and their parents from across the Conquistador Council came together at Dowling Aquatic Base for a memorable Family Camp filled with fun, fellowship, and adventure.
The weekend featured crafts, games, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. From the nearby splash park to fishing on the water, families found no shortage of ways to cool off and connect with nature.
Saturday evening’s campfire was a highlight for all. After the scheduled jokes, skits, and songs, nearly every Cub Scout stepped into the spotlight to share their own joke or riddle—earning hearty laughs and enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
We can’t wait to see these families again, along with many more, at our upcoming Cub Resident Camp in July and our Fall Family Camp later this year!
