Kristina Ganaway

Kristina Ganaway Selected as District Executive for the Conquistador Council 

We are pleased to announce the selection of Kristina Ganaway as District Executive for the Conquistador Council, Scouting America, effective June 16, 2025. 


Kristina brings both professional experience and a deep Scouting background to her new role. She holds an Associate’s Degree and has experience in sales and entrepreneurship through her book business. She currently serves as Committee Chair for Pack 89 and has also contributed as a District Member-at-Large in the Oil Patch District. Kristina and her husband, Wesley—also an active Scouting volunteer—recently attended National Camp School together, demonstrating their shared commitment to youth development. 


Kristina is the proud mother of Cedric, a Webelos, and Soren, a Tiger Scout. She joins the professional team with strong community relationships and a passion for delivering the Scouting program with excellence. 


Please join us in welcoming Kristina to the staff of the Conquistador Council as she partners with our volunteers to provide life-changing Scouting experiences across Southeast New Mexico. 


Justin Hines Selected as District Executive for the Conquistador Council

The Conquistador Council, Scouting America, is pleased to announce the selection of Justin Hines as District Executive for the Conquistador Council, Scouting America, effective June 16, 2025. 


Justin is a respected paramedic and supervisor with the Clovis Fire Department, as well as a community educator and program developer, known for launching a successful Fire Safety Public Education initiative that reached schools in his region and involved multiple fire departments. In Scouting, he currently serves as Committee Chair for Pack 226 and as a District Member-at-Large in the El Llano Grande District. 


Justin and his family are fully immersed in the Scouting program. He has three children actively involved: Addison, a Scout in Troop 411; Nathan, an Arrow of Light Scout; and Tyler, a Webelos Scout. His dedication to both family and Scouting makes him an ideal addition to our professional team. 


Please join us in congratulating Justin as he begins his new role serving Curry, Roosevelt, and De Baca Counties, in partnership with our volunteers, to expand Scouting opportunities throughout the region.
